Does anyone have a bread pudding recipe? I have been looking for ages can't seem to find a nice recipe! Also i want bread pudding not bread & butter pudding! And sorry to be a pain but can i have an english one! I don't work well with cups etc. Thanks!! Also does the bread have to be stale?

Bread Pudding recipe that is measured by CUPS of bread chunks, not slices please!!? I am making bread pudding out of some leftover buns and my good recipe and all the others I looked at are done in slices of bread, not cups of bread chunks. It does not have raisins, and the have an crock of vanilla sauce (i think) that you can either put on it or leave off.... Does anybody know this recipe? Please help!

Looking for a good bread pudding recipe? I have been requested to bring a bread pudding to Easter dinner with my family. they know that I have never made this before, but also know that most of my experiments turn out pretty well. I know that I am not interested in a hard sauce (multiple people in my family have issues when using alcohol in sauces) or a lemon sauce and my preference is a recipe that includes the use of raisins, as that style of bread pudding has always been my favorite. Any help you all could provide me would be greatly appreciated.

How to improve my bread pudding recipe? Ok, so now I've got a pretty good recipe, but how do I get the pudding to rise a bit more while it is baking? Will adding Baking Powder help?? Also, I currently use raisins. If I want to use babanas, is it better to use banana chips, or fresh banana. Will the chips absorb enough of the milk to become soft? Need as easy recipe for bread pudding? I used to have an easy recipe for bread pudding but have lost it over the years. It was made from stale bread, eggs and a few other things but was real easy to made and was all natural.
