- Check out Bob's Red Mill on the Web. They have some great mixes.
- I'm doing this bread at the moment so i don't know how it will turn out but it seems to be working- Light Oat Bread INGREDIENTS: 1 1/4 cups water 2 tablespoons margarine 1 teaspoon salt 3 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup rolled oats 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast DIRECTIONS: 1. Add ingredients to bread machine pan in order recommended by your manufacturer. Use regular light setting. Go to Allrecipes.com and type in bread machine in the search and it brings up tons of recipes all rated by reviewers. Only try the 4-5 star recipes. Good Luck.
- Look up the breadmaker manufacturer and model on the web. You might be able to download the manual witch comes with lots of different recipes for your breadmaker.
- the best thing i can suggest is to find the brand name for your breadmaker, then go online to their site and find recipes because each breadmaker is different and each take different amounts of ingredients to make it good bread i have one too and found out the hard way, hope this helps

- Not knowing the kind of breadmaker you have, I recommend you buy a book. There is a great book on the market by Better Homes & Gardens called the Biggest Boof of Bread Machine Recipes and includes recipes for 1 1/2 lb & 2 lb loaves. I have one myself.
- The best thing you can do is look up the company and model number of your machine then go to their website. See if they have a pdf you can download of the manual that came with your machine. Or call customer service and ask for it to be mailed to you. Older machines are different than newer ones and not all bread machines are created equal. So long as you keep that in mind, when you try other recipes, you'll learn what works best with your machine over time.
