How do I keep the bread crumbs from falling off the chicken breast?
I just made some chicken, and used bread crumbs to coat it. I dipped the chicken in egg, applied the bread crumbs then fried it for a minute. I then baked the chicken in the oven until it was cooked, but the bread crumbs fell off when I picked the chicken piece up. Is there a way to secure the bread crumbs?

- Dip them in egg or a mixture of egg and milk
- The best thing to do is the double dip method. first you dip the chicken in flour with salt and pepper, then dip into egg/buttermilk mixture then into bread crumbs, but don't put in a large amount of oil. Just put enough oil to come up about 1/2 inch so the chicken is not completely covered by the oil. Then after you fry it, then back it for a little while. That should take care of it.
- roll your chicken in flour first then in egg wash then into bread crumb coating.. this should help a great deal..also don`t move your chicken around in the pan til ready to turn.. if it sticks and coating comes off then they weren`t ready to be flipped..
